When it was time to replace their timber windows, Susie and John’s primary concern was preserving the distinctive front elevation of their house. The windows of the handsome terraced property in Hampstead feature beautiful curved transoms with complementing keystones.

Once we had assessed and scoped the work, we submitted our plans to the local planning and conservation representatives. We worked with them throughout the installation and kept them updated to ensure everyone was happy with the work.

We replaced a number of flush box sash windows with extended frames and two French doorsets. As you can see from the images, the resulting windows replicated the originals exactly, ensuring that the street scene was perfectly preserved.
