The windows in Jane and Brian’s Dulwich home were beginning to show their age and the couple were keen to improve the kerb appeal of the property, as well as its energy efficiency and security. There were a total of 14 casement windows to replace, as well as the front and rear doors.

The important architecture in the Dulwich area requires that the street scene be strictly preserved. Having replaced windows at several properties in the area, we were able to liaise with local planning and conservation representatives and advise Jane and Brian on what was possible.

Our craftsmen then set to work replacing the windows and doors in the same style and design as the originals. Although we replaced like-for-like, the difference in look and feel is amazing when compared to the neighbouring house. The clean lines of the new, strong timber windows and the smart new front door give the property a whole new lease of life.
